As summer continues there are several events and presentations involving Williamsville that you may be interested in attending.
1. Sunday August 25th, 7:00 – 9:00pm at the Screening Room, 120 Princess Street – Hearthmakers: Be The Change Community Engagement Night with presentations from change-making Kingston organizations including the Farmers’ Market Association of Kingston, and movie Be The Change a documentary by Queen’s alumni David Churnushenko on living more sustainably.
2. September 13th, 14th, 15th, Kingston School of Art presents Paint the Town in Williamsville. This is a free outdoor painting event for any artist who wishes to register. Please see www.ksoa.info for details.
3. Wednesday September 25th, City of Kingston Public Meetings on the Princess Street Construction in Williamsville. Two meeting times are available to accommodate businesses and residents, but you can attend either at 8:00 – 9:30am or 6:30 – 8:00pm at Princess Street United Church, 484 Albert Street at Princess. Residents and businesses in the immediate construction zone only, will receive invitations.
4. Friday September 27th, Fish Fry at St. Luke’s Church 5:00 – 7:00pm on Nelson Street at Princess. For tickets $15, call 613-542-5501.
